Fee schedule with a communal twist

I cannot take insurance but I am offering a variety of ways to pay because I value community, inclusivity, and lending each other a hand. We live in divisive and fragmented times. We can opt to invest in mutual trust instead. You can do so by paying at a higher or the regular rate. This will, hopefully, allow me to sustainably include options for paying on a sliding scale and some sessions for free within all the modalities I offer. This way we can all support others who are dealing with financial or other challenges. We can all fall on hard times. By investing in each other’s health and well-being, we build a stronger community.

You can pay me via Venmo or personal check made out to Heartful Presence, LLC.

Payment is expected at the end of the session.

You can cancel for free within 48 hours of the session. For cancelation within 24 hours of the appointment, I will ask for a 25% payment of the session. In case of a no-show, I will ask for a 50% payment unless you were faced with a sudden hardship.

  • I Can chip in extra

    If you are in a position of financial abundance, consider paying the highest rate. By doing so, you will implicitly subsidize someone who needs care but either cannot afford the regular rate or anything at all. You may be helping someone facing the high costs of cancer care or someone who is going through some kind of loss and needs a safe place to be listened to and held.

  • Middle Ground with a Touch

    If you are financially stable, consider paying the regular rate. Your payment allows me to offer reduced sessions and some pro bono work while also having a sustainable practice.

  • I could use a break

    If things are financially challenging for you, you can either work with the sliding scale or ask me about getting two sessions for free. I offer a limited number of pro bono sessions each quarter.
